Will a Halo fit the hard hat my crew already wears?
Halo SL and Halo IS use a universal mount and work with any standard hard hat, cap style or full brim. You do not have to standardise your crew on a particular helmet to use them. Type II helmet shells vary a lot more, so pick your helmet in the selector above or ask your rep about your specific model.
Does Sixth Sense need a Halo to work?
No. Sixth Sense clips to any standard hard hat on its own using the included clip. It also integrates into a Halo SL through the port, which trickle charges it while connected — but a Halo is not required for it to function.
What does Sixth Sense actually detect?
It senses 50 and 60 Hz alternating current — the frequencies that run on power lines — across a range of 120 V to 500 kV. Detection depends on the sensitivity setting and the strength of the field, so it is an additional layer of awareness, not a replacement for testing and grounding. If you are unsure whether a specific environment would trigger it, ask us before you deploy.
How quickly do orders ship?
Stocked items ship in 1–2 business days from when we receive the order. All three Halo SL models are normally held in stock.
Is there an order minimum?
No minimum. Orders over $1,000 USD qualify for free shipping. Our own web store is capped at six units per item — past six, a distributor will serve you better on price, freight and terms.
How do I get set up as a distributor?
Tell us where you are and we will connect you with the rep group covering your territory — NACH Marketing on the West Coast, Belmont Enterprises in the Midwest, or Sales Solutions Inc. on the East Coast. They handle account setup and can get you quoting quickly.
What is the warranty, and how do repairs work?
Send us the SKU, roughly when it was purchased, and a photo of the problem, and we will come back with options. These are sealed assemblies, so most issues are resolved by replacement rather than repair.
Am I quoting the current part number?
Part numbers get revised as hardware is updated — the Halo SL battery two-pack, for example, moved from HARB-01A-X2 to HARB-01B-X2. If you are working from an older quote or catalogue, send us the number you have and we will confirm what supersedes it.
Where is my order, and can I get tracking or an invoice?
Send your PO number and we will come back with order status, tracking and the invoice.
Can you drop-ship direct to a jobsite on a distributor PO?
In most cases yes. Put the ship-to address on the PO and we will confirm pricing and the estimated ship date before anything moves.
