What it detects, and what it does not
Sixth Sense senses 50 and 60 Hz alternating current — the frequencies that run on power lines — from 120 V up to 500 kV. Detection depends on the sensitivity setting and the strength of the field around the conductor.
It is an additional layer of awareness. It is not a substitute for testing, grounding, or your established safe work practices, and it does not detect DC. If you are unsure whether a particular environment would trigger it, ask us before you deploy.
With or without a Halo
Two ways to wear it. Clipped directly to a standard hard hat using the included clip, or seated in the port on a Halo SL, where it charges from the Halo battery between shifts.
