Why a new Halo
Type II helmets protect against lateral impact as well as impact from above, and they are becoming standard across a growing number of sites. Their shells are shaped very differently from a traditional hard hat, and the accessory geometry differs between manufacturers.
Halo V is being designed for that world — integrated with the helmet rather than clipped around a brim.
In the meantime
Halo SL® uses a universal mount and works with any standard hard hat today, and seats on many Type II shells. Use the helmet selector on the products page, or ask your rep about your specific model.
